TITANS SEEK TO CHANGE STORY IN PVL FINALS

(UPDATE) THE Choco Mucho Flying Titans aim to reverse the story from their previous finals appearance in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

After a four set feat against the seasoned Petro Gazz Angels, 23-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-20, the Flying Titans are off to battle their sister team Creamline in the finals.

Finished as the bridesmaid and not the bride in the PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference, coach Dante Alinsunurin told The Manila Times that they want to change the story this time in the finals.

"Well for us, as a team we thought that here we are again, this is what happened last conference, I was also proud of how Rebisco teams both got into the finals...but now we hope that we can change the story," Alinsunurin said.

Alinsunurin also sees that the Flying Titans are ready for what is coming as his squad have more maturity this time.

"Well, based on how we played and how we moved during the elimination and semifinals, we are ready to take the championship. Finishing 3-0 in the semis says on who we are ready."

"Hopefully we can take the championship this time."

As Choco Mucho asserted their dominance in the semifinals of the PVL 2024 All Filipino Conference with a 3-0 win-loss finish, they already expected that there would be a possible finals rematch against Creamline.

"Of course, we know that Creamline will be still in the finals given in the earlier situation, and they are the defending champion. We already expected them."

In last year's best-of-three series, Creamline prevailed in the finals after overpowering Choco Mucho by winning two consecutive games.

The sister act will begin on Thursday, May 9, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum as Creamline and Choco Mucho look to take its first win in the finals.
