MADAYAG PROUD OF TITANS' RESILIENCE

(UPDATE) Madayag proud of Titans' resilience THE wings of the Flying Titans remain sturdy.

Choco Mucho team captain Maddie Madayag shared that her squad draws their strength from their teammates who were injured in this Premier Volleyball League 2024 All-Filipino Conference.

"This is for them. I have three teammates who were down this conference. We don't have Kat (Tolentino), Aduke (Ogunsanya) and Des (Cheng). We want to play for them because even though we wanted to play with them inside the court, but it looks like it is always against our odds," Madayag told the press.

Tolentino suffered an auditory illness that made her miss games, while Cheng and Ogunsanya are still recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Despite being undermanned in the conference, Madayag believes in Choco Mucho's resilience.

"I always tell them that Choco Mucho is resilient. No matter what you do we can rise, beat us, punch us, we will always rise. All of these pains will be carried in our finals, no matter what happens we will always fight," the team captain said with a spirited smile.

Hungry to take the championship, Madayag wants the Flying Titans to keep the same energy as they will face their sister team Creamline in the finals.

"I hope my teammates also see how badly we want the championship. We are so hungry to get the cold. I think my teammates also feel it. I want to inspire my teammates, and as Sisi (Rondina) said we all want to be stronger in the finals."

The sister act will begin on Thursday, May 9, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum as Creamline and Choco Mucho look to take its first win in the finals.
