QUIAMBAO'S DOUBLE-DOUBLE PROPELS LA SALLE PAST LETRAN, TO D-LEAGUE SEMIS

Kevin Quiambao dropped a double-double outing to steer EcoOil-La Salle past Wangs Basketball @27 Strikers-Letran, 102-79, and secure a semifinals ticket in the 2023 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Thursday.

 

The 6-foot-8 forward detonated for 28 points and 13 rebounds, along with two assists, as they finished the elimination round in second place with a 5-1 record, while the Knights forced a three-way tie at 3-3 with Perpetual and CEU.

 

Based on the quotient, Letran will wind up in fourth place, while Perpetual and CEU secured the third and fifth spots, respectively.

 

Prince Alao provided the help with 10 points, four rebounds, and five assists, while Mike Phillips was a point away from a double-double as he chipped in nine markers and 13 boards.
